Jewelry depends on clarity. So does architecture.
 
Low-iron Starphire glass removes the usual green cast, preserving the true white of the faceted tile. Diamond-Fusion treatment on both sides helps resist water spots.

Moving the vanity forward did not move the tub valve.
 
The full-depth vanity concealed the plumbing below, while the false wall above was built directly on the cabinet box for the eight-inch Robern cabinet.

Most recessed medicine cabinets are about four inches deep. Six inches is considered deep.
 
When I designed this bathroom, Robern offered an unusual eight-inch M Series cabinet—twice the usual depth. That model has since been discontinued.
 
A rare catalog find then; now an even rarer hidden gem inside The Jewelry Box Bathroom.

This custom partition is less than two inches thick - exactly 1 3/4 inches on the drawing - returning valuable space to the vanity and countertop.

A solid wall blocked the window and crowded the vanity. Replacing it with glass carried daylight into the tub and gained almost four inches of usable countertop.
