Addcox Heating Center Coos Bay

As we wrap up another Cruz the Coos, the Coos Bay–North Bend Rotary Club wants to recognize the incredible community partners who have helped make this tradition possible year after year.

For many years, Mike the Bear and K-Dock 92.9 have been a huge part of Cruz the Coos. Mike’s voice, interviews, laughs and dedication became part of the tradition, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he and the K-Dock crew have given this event and our community.

This year, circumstances required a change in radio stations. We were sad about it, but we understand. Mike, thank you for nearly three decades of memories and for helping make Cruz the Coos what it is today. You will always be part of this event’s history.

A huge thank you to 105.9 The Legend for stepping in this year and helping us keep Cruz the Coos on the air!

This year was also extra special as we welcomed our first-ever title sponsor, Addcox Heating Center! Thank you for your incredible support of Cruz the Coos and our community.

And a big thank you to Ko-Kwel Casino Resort for hosting the Show ‘n Shine and helping us kick off an amazing day!

To K-Dock 92.9, Mike the Bear, 105.9 The Legend, Addcox Heating Center, Ko-Kwel Casino Resort, our volunteers, drivers, sponsors and everyone who showed up to support Cruz the Coos - THANK YOU! 🏁

What an incredible day at Cruz the Coos! 🚗🏆

It was an absolute honor for Addcox Heating Center – Coos Bay to be the very first Title Sponsor of this amazing event. I had the privilege of handing out the trophies and getting to spend the day surrounded by some truly incredible classic cars, great people, and an amazing community.

We’re proud to support events like this that bring our community together, and we’re even more excited about helping start a tradition that we hope continues for many years to come.
A huge thank you to Rotary Cruz the Coos for putting on such a fantastic event, and congratulations to all of the winners and everyone who brought out their beautiful cars!

We’re already looking forward to next year! 🏆🇺🇸🚘

Happy Juneteenth! ❤️
Today, we commemorate June 19, 1865—the day the news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom is a journey, history is worth remembering, and progress requires all of us. Today, we celebrate Black history, culture, and resilience while reflecting on the work that still lies ahead to ensure true equality for everyone.
How are you celebrating or reflecting in our community today?

It is National Sunscreen Day! ☀️ While you are busy protecting your skin outside, don't forget about protecting your home's indoor comfort from that upcoming summer heat.

The best way to keep your house cool and efficient before July hits is making sure your system is prepped and ready to roll.

Quick question for the comments: Are you team "bring on the blistering summer heat" or team "give me crisp 68-degree indoor AC all season long"? Drop your vote below! 👇❄️

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, honor, and legacy will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Our offices are closed today so that our team can spend this time reflecting and remembering alongside our families and community. We will return to regular business hours tomorrow.

Wishing you all a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
