Working on the inside and outside of this home, getting it ready for the next owner.

Today was another good step forward.

I spoke with Makayla McCowen, who will be helping us sell the home, and TriTurf CSRA stopped by for another treatment to help get the yard healthy again.

There is still work to do, but little by little, this place is coming back together.

Hopefully by the end of the month, this one will be ready to hit the market.

Cinch bug damage can sneak up fast, especially during hot, dry weather. Homeowners usually notice it as irregular yellow or brown patches in the lawn that continue to spread, even with normal watering. The damage often starts in sunny areas, along driveways, sidewalks, or other heat-stressed spots.

A quick way to check is to part the grass near the edge of the damaged area and look closely at the soil line. Cinch bugs are small, but you may spot tiny black insects with white wings moving through the thatch.

Because cinch bug damage can look similar to drought stress or disease, catching the signs early matters. If your lawn has patches that are growing instead of greening back up, it may be time to call in the pros.
