A toilet flapper that leaks quietly wastes more water than a dripping faucet ever will — and most people live with it for months without noticing. Same story with a slow supply-line drip behind a wall.

A quick way to check: turn off every fixture in the house, then look at your water meter. Still moving? 👀 You've got a leak.
