The team at Thermal IQ completed this closed cell foam project in North Anson.

Peak summer is known to be the most grueling time of year for foam guys, but with a cooler full of water, and a little patience from Mike and Sharon, we persevered and were able to deliver a quality product on a tricky roofline in a timely manner!

Closed cell foam is a great option for metal garage applications. With a compression strength of 26 psi, it helps protect a wide span rafter system from Maines heavy snow loads, while adhering exceptionally well to corrugated metal, when applied with proper techniques.

Thermal IQ is a Efficiency Maine registered vendor offering rebates for insulation upgrades up to 80%

The rebate program will be experiencing reductions in savings, moving away from percentage based rebates to flat rate amounts depending on the areas and type of home being upgraded. This change will take effect on October 1st of this year.

This was an under floor application. We applied 4” of closed cell foam totaling and r-21.

Closed cell foam works particularly well in under floor applications acting as an air and v***r barrier, preventing the risk of joist rot from harsh weather and ground ev***ration.
