A common call to us is "we're selling our home and our realtor is making us pump the tank before they will list our home."....
Go get a different realtor..
No honest real estate agent will ask you to deface your property and make it impossible for a buyer to do an accurate inspection. Unless he or she isnt honest..
When buying a home if the septic has been pumped within 5 months of listing the home. WALK AWAY. OR have the seller put $40000.00 in escrow for the septic for 10 years. Because you can't get an accurate septic inspection if the seller isnt being honest with you.
Not to mention if they aren't honest about the septic why would they be honest about the well or the property line or anything to that matter.
