High pressure can wreak havoc on your plumbing fixtures, appliances, and piping. Also can cause noisy water hammer issues. Have your homes water pressure checked and add a device to control proper pressure. Or replace a failing pressure reducing valve.

Original installation failed, whoever did the install combined shark bites and cpvc plastic pipe. A shower valve is turned on and off regularly this combination makes for a leak at this inferior material. A shower valve should always be hard piped to avoid this issue.

Before shows typically a non plumber install of inferior pipes and parts that don’t belong. These failed and a new shower valve was installed correctly.
