We do more than just throw structures up. The final details on this project are getting wrapped up today. We offer licensed electrical work. This project is getting lights and an outdoor fan today.

Not our typical build, but we are excited. This is a sneak peak at the first of many vendor chalets for an upcoming fall event. Stay tuned for more details. Mums the word.

Wood Has Changed. So Has the Way We Build.

Take a look at these boards.

Modern lumber isn’t worse than lumber from 100 years ago. It’s different. Faster-grown wood behaves differently, which means the way you build with it matters more than ever.

At Okie Outdoor, we build with premium cedar, rough-cut Douglas fir, and SPF (spruce, pine, and fir), the dimensional lumber commonly found at home improvement stores. Each material has unique strengths, so we adjust our framing methods, fasteners, spans, and joinery accordingly.

The best structures aren’t built with one type of wood.

They’re built with an understanding of the wood you’re using.

Build it right the first time.

Beautiful outdoor spaces deserve beautiful seasons.

One of the things we’ve always loved at Okie Outdoor is helping families enjoy their homes. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest venture, Pumpkin & Pine.

Pumpkin & Pine provides premium seasonal porch styling throughout the fall, then transitions into Christmas decorating for the holidays.

If you’d like to follow along or know someone who loves decorating for the seasons, we’d appreciate your support.

Go give Pumpkin & Pine a like and help us get this new adventure off the ground!

There’s no better way to start the 4th of July weekend than a message like this.

This project was a perfect example of why we built Okie Outdoor the way we did.

We’re more than installers. We’re craftsmen.

Our goal has never been to simply show up and throw together another cookie cutter pergola. We want to build trust first and create outdoor spaces that are designed around the people who will actually use them.

These customers had dreamed about this space for years. They knew some of what they wanted, some of what they didn’t want, and had walked through ideas, plans, and bids with several companies along the way.

We were able to take the time to listen, understand their concerns, collaborate on solutions and craft something that was truly made for them.

Now they get to sit on the porch, enjoy their morning coffee, and look out at something that feels like it was always supposed to be there.

That’s why we do what we do.

Happy Independence Day from Okie Outdoor 🇺🇸

A better way to enjoy your morning coffee.

We built this custom cedar wall onto an existing shop to give the homeowner a little more shade, wind protection, and privacy without closing the space in completely.
It completely changed the feel of the area, adding warmth, style, and function all at once.
If you have an existing structure that could use more privacy or a more finished outdoor living feel, we’d love to help design something that fits your space.

We get asked a lot: "How much does a pergola actually cost?"

Honest answer: it depends. The size, materials, add-ons, and site conditions all factor in. But we can tell you this: a well-built pergola or outdoor structure consistently adds more value to a home than it costs to build.

We are not here to upsell you on things you do not need. We will sit down with you, understand your space and your budget, and put together something that makes sense.

DM us or drop a comment and we will be glad to talk through what that looks like for you.

Started with a pergola.
Then another pergola and pavilion.
Now custom cedar awnings and porch covers to finish it off.

There’s no better compliment than customers calling us back again and again to keep building.

These custom cedar awnings were built to match the existing structures perfectly while adding character, shade, and protection from the Oklahoma rain.
