Once again, employee of the month goes to Nicki 🥳 She absolutely dominates any task ahead of her.

We ended up finding the footer, of an old retaining wall, and had to chip away at 12” of pure concrete just to set 6 of our posts. Only took 2 solid days. Who doesn’t love a good iron bar workout?! 😅 Sometimes the day has other plans and that’s all good, just roll with it and stay hydrated 🤙

We’ve been going non stop this summer. Luckily it hasn’t been too hot 😅 We actually love it.

150’ of “Cap and Trim” with a Single Gate and a Double Gate. Slopes and step downs. Really changed the appearance of this property.

🔹We love doing the hard things and this one had all of them. This project incorporated not just one but two super custom designs. It’s hard to fully appreciate it with just pictures but here they are.

🔹For the front we did 60’ of “Lap with Cap”. 1x8x8 high quality Cedar lapped over the next by 1”. Top is a perfect horizontal plane that steps down. It’s mostly 8’ tall but tapers up the driveway which required us to cut every single board, adding 3/8” as we went down the drive. Creating a perfect fall with the grade.

🔹In the back we did 100’ of “Skinny Board on Board with Cap”. 1x4x8 high quality Cedar with a 1” space between. 8’ tall with a step down. This version of Board on Board leans more towards a modern yet timeless look that goes perfectly with the Mid Century Modern architecture of this beautiful home and property in Nichols Hills.

🔹Extreme precision and meditation was required to pull this one off. We’ll return to add a few more details once some landscaping is done. We also have some unique stain planned for both fences.

Labor of love and we really love this one. Hope you do as well 💙🌞

Did our thing and finished this beauty yesterday. 120’ Horizontal Garden Wall. One Step Up and 2x6 Top Cap for a touch of dimension. Had to clear a bunch of trees and bamboo first but we got it dialed in. Clean slate, ready for summer. Have an incredible Memorial Day weekend!

Driveway Enclosure upgrade 🙌 Removed that silly white vinyl and replaced it with a modern horizontal design. 7/8 Western Red Cedar. Rhombus shaped so it had a few tricks up its sleeve but that’s what we like to do 😊
