The first 3 pictures are from June/July 2018 and the last is from today 8/3/2025. 7 years after planting and the growth is amazing! This is the real transformation. I love planting and love planting trees especially knowing I may never sit underneath its shade my children and grandchildren will.

Get your humming bird feeders cleaned! Make your own hummingbird food at home. It’s easy and better than the red dye. Just mix one part sugar and 4 parts water and heat to dissolve the sugar. Plant red trumpet shaped flowers near your feeder to help guide them. For example; petunias, mandevilla, rose of Sharon, azalea.

Hummingbird fans rejoice! The ruby-throated hummingbirds are on their way back to the eastern US after spending the winter in Mexico and South America.

One leaf cleanup we did today. Leaves went from taking up this much space in the yard down to this. This is a 5x10 dump trailer and the metal sides are roughly 15” high.
