Who doesn't love a little extra living space! This customer called us to build a deck with pavers and a pea gravel seating area and already knew what they wanted. They gave us a rough drawing then let us put the plans together. The deck is 12x12 with two stairways. We used railroad timbers to give a rustic look around the seating areas and with in a few days there was an additional 650sf of outdoor living space.

Talavera pottery has arrived with several great Halloween 🎃 themes. And check out some of the new local made pottery from Ed Eldridge. We don’t have everything displayed yet but that shouldn’t stop you from taking a peek anyway.
We’ll start getting our veggies in next week for everyone that’s been waiting. By the following week we should have hay bails and then pumpkins by the end of the month.

These plants are thriving in our triple digit heat with little to no care. I just had to show off a few of the plants that we didn’t intentionally place. Wind, birds or just a piece breaking off and landing in the right spot is how nature works. I know the mint isn’t native but it makes a great example of how resilient our plants are.

It’s been a hot several weeks to say the least. But guess what?! But did you see the temperature forecast for next week!!! Me too and they look incredible! 🥵 But the good news is that we’re heading into fall and the sun will start being a bit friendlier to us pretty soon. I hope everyone has their list going to get busy in the landscape and garden. It’s about time for the Second Spring and that’s something we can all celebrate.

We talk about out pollinator friends a lot so I just wanted to show a few in action. As we get ready to move into September the planting bug should start getting everyone excited again. I’m just here to remind you that our drought tolerant native plants are a great way to have a beautiful and colorful yard as well as help our important insects.

For those that love houseplants and bougainvillea then this might be where your next stop is. We just unloaded a truck with all kinds of cool things. We have a bougainvillea that I have never seen before. So look carefully in the video to see if you can help me out.
