ABOUT SAHARA WINDOW AND DOORS
Since 1981, the family-owned and operated Sahara has established itself as a leader in Chicago’s window and door industry. Beginning as a part-time operation, Sahara was started by Iver Johnson Sr., a retired Chicago police officer of 31 years, and now resides in the heart of the Northwest side, located at the intersection of Milwaukee and Central Ave. With deep roots

and experience in the city, Sahara has served the entire Chicagoland area since its beginning. When you stop by our location, you’ll see our display of various types of windows, including bay, bow, double hung, casements, and garden as well as doors, such as storm and replacement. Our services include full window and door installation and replacement, vinyl siding, gutters, soffits, and fascias as well as glass block windows. As a member of the Professional Remodelers Association, we provide customers the best, personalized service with our own experienced carpenters. Our products come from nationally recognized companies such as: Pella; Marvin Windows & Doors; SilverLine Windows & Doors, an Andersen Company; Great Lakes Window; Albany Door Systems; Larson Manufacturing; James Hardie; and Alside.
