Foundation day for this Chicago addition. With the old porch cleared and excavation complete, the crew moved into prepping and pouring concrete for the new footprint.
Everything this addition becomes rests on how well this stage gets done, which is exactly why the crew doesn't rush it.

This is what a coordinated design-build process looks like on-site, one step leading directly into the next with no guesswork. Follow along as this addition keeps taking shape, and when you're ready to plan your own, schedule a consultation with 4Ever Remodeling.

Natural light & warm wood tones make for the ultimate master bath reset ✨

For this Chicago master bathroom, we combined clean, modern lines with rich, organic textures to create a space that feels like a daily spa retreat.

We paired a custom warm wood vanity with brushed brass hardware, paired with arched matte black mirrors that draw the eye upward and reflect natural light from the skylight. The contrasting vertical-stacked tile in the walk-in shower and floating wood shelves create a clean, clutter-free aesthetic.

This Norwood Park kitchen had room to breathe, and the layout leaned into it with a dedicated dining space built right into the plan.

Navy blue cabinetry carries from the main kitchen straight into a built-in buffet along the dining wall, with warm wood tones and brass hardware tying both spaces together. Floating shelves flank the window in place of closed uppers, giving the wall texture and a spot to display favorite pieces, while a brass dome pendant hangs low over the table. The tall pantry column does double duty, offering real storage while framing the transition between cooking and gathering. In the kitchen, that same navy pairs with rich stained wood uppers and a mosaic tile backsplash for contrast, with stainless appliances and brass fixtures carrying the details through.

Every detail here was mapped out during Design Development, long before any cabinets went in. Curious what your kitchen could look like? Send us a message to start the conversation.

Some bathrooms make you pick a lane. Shower person or bath person, choose your side.

This one refuses to play that game. A deep soaking tub sits right under the window, framed in marble tile with a polished nickel wall-mount filler that looks like it belongs in a boutique hotel. Step a few feet over and there's a fully glassed-in shower wrapped in a soft blue subway tile that plays beautifully against all that white marble everywhere else, plus a rain shower head and handheld combo so nobody's fighting over water pressure preferences either.

It's the kind of layout that comes from thinking through how two people use one bathroom differently, morning routines, unwind-after-a-long-day routines, all of it. That's the piece that gets worked out at the 3D rendering stage. If your bathroom has been making you choose, let's talk about a layout that doesn't.

Schedule a design consultation and we'll walk through what's possible in your space.

This Westmont basement had the square footage to be something, and now it is. The finished level opens up room by room, a bold blue space that flows into a wide open hallway, past a warm wood staircase, and back to a bathroom that holds its own against any room upstairs.

That bathroom is the detail we're proudest of here. Small footprints are where design has to earn its keep, and vertical tile running floor to ceiling in the shower, paired with a brushed gold pedestal sink and a glass walk-in enclosure, makes it feel like part of the same remodel.

If your basement is sitting there half-finished, let's change that. Reach out to schedule a design consultation and see what your square footage could actually become.

Our trucks just got a refresh, and if you've spotted a bright blue and green wrap cruising through the northwest suburbs lately, that's the new look for 4Ever Remodeling.

We've updated our fleet with a bolder design, but the crew behind the wheel and the work we're known for hasn't changed a bit. Whether we're headed to a design consultation, checking in on a job site, or parked outside our Niles Design Studio at 6881 N Milwaukee Ave, our trucks are one of the easiest ways to spot us out in the community.

If you see the new wrap on the road, give a wave. And if you're ready to start planning your own remodel, our team would love to help you bring it to life.

So many homeowners tell us they've ruled out a freestanding tub because their bathroom feels too tight for one. It's one of the most common myths we hear in consultations, and it's rarely true once you actually look at the layout.

Freestanding tubs come in a range of sizes, and the compact options need far less floor space than people expect. The real key is choosing the right proportions and placement for the room, not the room being large to begin with. We've tucked them into corners, alcoves, and smaller primary baths across the Chicago area and made the space feel open rather than cramped.

During Design Development, we map out exactly how a tub will sit in your space with a 3D rendering before anything gets built, so you know it fits before we start. If you've been told a freestanding tub isn't in the cards for your bathroom, schedule a design consultation and let's take a real look.

There's a stretch of Lake in the Hills where the homes have been standing for decades, and this bathroom finally caught up to everything else the family loved about theirs.

Sage green took over the vanity first. Shaker Sage cabinets from J&K Cabinetry give the room a color that doesn't shout, and Da Vinci Gold Quartz on top brings in just enough movement to keep things from feeling flat. The floor tells its own story, Palmetto Walnut Wood Tile from MSI Surfaces mimics real hardwood, built to handle steam and splashes for years.

Then the shower opens up entirely differently. Agadir Glazed Porcelain covers the walls in a soft, handmade texture that catches light in a new way depending on the time of day, and Calacatta Gold Matte Hexagon Tile underfoot keeps the marble-inspired veining going all the way down. A built-in bench and grab bars turned out to matter just as much as the tile choice, this shower was built to be lived in, not just looked at.

If your own bathroom has been waiting its turn, schedule a design consultation with 4Ever Remodeling and let's figure out what it's ready to become.
