Think painting is just rolling or brushing color onto a wall? Think again. 😞
The hardest part of painting isn’t applying the paint—it’s the preparation. Proper preparation is what creates a smooth, durable, professional-looking finish.
DIY projects can cost more when they are not done correctly. Just as you wouldn’t attempt plumbing or electrical work without the proper knowledge and safety precautions, painting and renovation requires skill, experience, and attention to detail. When the work goes wrong, a professional has to come in and redo it.
I’m not just a Decorator/painter I’m a EPA Federally Certified Renovator. I’ve been in the industry for decades and have the experience to renovate entire homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, and electrical work and we have a certified designer on staff and our architect Michael is second to none!
My father founded our renovation company with my uncle in 1984 they were brokers who owned CENTURY 21 Pan American Realty here in Chicago . Together they bought renovated and flipped homes, condos, buildings, and commercial properties in Chicago and Miami for our brokerage and our clients.
Before you decide to DIY, ask yourself: Are you properly trained and certified? To work on electrical wiring without knowing with breaker to switch off or would you try to fix a leak or worse a waste water drain from you toilet waste water! Yuck 🤮
If not, hire a qualified professional from the start. It will save you time, a lot of money, and a whole lot of frustration. 😉
