Progress continues on the Cass County COA project as we move through early construction on Phase 1.

This phase includes a new addition to support Adult Day Services (ADS), which will ultimately allow the existing ADS space to be repurposed for administrative use - helping improve overall functionality for staff and the community. While construction is actively underway, the project is still in its early stages, and we look forward to sharing more as the structure begins to take shape.

We’re proud to support Cass County COA in evaluating opportunities that create lasting impact for the communities they serve—and we look forward to sharing more updates as progress continues.

Finishing touches are being made at the Belding Virtual Learning Center!

As this 7,700 SF Link Learning project nears completion, you can see the space reflect its purpose - supporting a flexible, student-centered approach to education. Designed with intention, one half of the building serves as a dedicated virtual learning environment, while the other functions as a regional office, creating a dynamic and efficient use of space.

Starting with only the exterior structure in place gave our team the unique opportunity to design the interior from the ground up - shaping spaces that align closely with the client’s vision and the evolving needs of students and staff.

We’re excited to help support this project as it comes to life, and look forward to Belding VLC opening its doors to students and staff in that community.

Exciting news from Southwestern Michigan College!

The new wrestling facility has officially received temporary occupancy, and the wrestling team has started to practice in their brand-new space just in time for regionals and nationals. The interior is looking fantastic, with all major finishes complete—including epoxy flooring, fresh paint, and custom branding.

While spring weather will bring the finishing touches to the exterior, SMC is gearing up for its ribbon-cutting event next month, featuring a very special guest speaker. Stay tuned for more photos and updates, as we help bring this design vision to life for SMC athletics! 🤼

CARMI Design Group got dressed up and hit the town for the unforgettable Sweethearts Ball benefitting A Rosie Place for Children - O'Hana Heritage Foundation.

It was an evening filled with joy, community spirit, and a shared commitment to making a difference. We are incredibly proud to sponsor this wonderful event, which plays a crucial role in raising much-needed funding to support vital programs for medically fragile children and their families in our community.

We are also honored to have been chosen to design HeARTworks studio for the not-for-profit. Once complete, the building will give medically fragile children a place to use their unique abilities to create art in an interactive environment – without limitations.

We are especially proud to partner with A Rosie Place for Children on the HeARTworks Studio, a truly one-of-a-kind creative space that is beginning to take shape. Designed with accessibility, imagination, and inclusivity at its core, HeARTworks Studio will give children the opportunity to express themselves through art — without limitations.

This innovative studio will feature adaptive workstations, multi-sensory experiences, traditional and digital art tools, and even AI-driven creative technology - all thoughtfully designed to meet children exactly where they are and empower creativity in new, meaningful ways.
