We are moving along on the back deck’s roof. She is sheathed and almost ready to be dried in. We had to alter the gable line on the right side to make sure water would land on our roof but she will tie together just fine. Sometimes in order to get the water running where you want it small additions are necessary. Stay tuned for updates as we move along. This is how a roof is supposed to be built over your deck. Beware of the people who show up and try to attach the roof to your overhang’s fascia board or directly over your siding. Those are big big No-No’s and is why you always see collapsed roofs when we get snow.
