Farmers Electric Cooperative serves approximately 5,173 members in Independence, Jackson, Poinsett and Woodruff counties in Northeast Arkansas. Incorporated in 1937, the cooperative maintains approximately 979 miles of power lines. The locally owned and managed organization has 23 employees.
