Sometimes, the best way to create your dream home is to start fresh—with a foundation already in place and an incredible view to build around.

This project in Portsmouth, RI, replaces an existing 870 sq. ft. home with 2,300 sq. ft. of new construction, built on the existing foundation. The design also connects to the existing garage, creating a new guest suite above, while a new primary suite features a private deck overlooking the beautiful Sakonnet River.

The result? More space, more flexibility, and a home designed to make the most of its incredible waterfront setting. We’re excited to see this one take shape!

Steel framing, expansive glass panels, and stone panel cladding give this home a clean, contemporary character, while the design responds carefully to its flood-zone location.
