In this market, we have been seeing many different lithium companies come up with their products. One advantage of those batteries is that they are anywhere from 20 to 40 percent cheaper than Battle Born. Many people choose to go with the cheaper option, but the question comes up to our minds very often: why are they cheaper?
Well, many battery companies will not tell you that there are grades of lithium (A,B, C, and such), so Battle, of course, comes up with A-grade lithium, and many other batteries use B and C-grade lithium. Also, sometimes the cheaper lithium brand tells you that they use A grade. The reason is that it is already recycled lithium and that this will not put out as much capacity and power as Battle Born, so technically you will not have 100 percent usage but maybe 60 percent or less. More Effective Battle-Born Batteries are far more energy-efficient than their counterparts, having a higher energy density.
Battle-born batteries will last a minimum of 10 to 15 years and will give you a 10-year warranty, which other lithium batteries don't.
This type of battery has generally zero maintenance, but of course the batteries should be installed by professionals like The RV Repair Guy team to ensure quality installation and warrantee.
The up-front cost for those batteries is generally high, but in the long run, the battery comes up cheaper just because there is no maintenance for 10 years. Generally, AAA or other lead acid batteries last 3 to 5 years, but if used often, they really last 2 to 3 years. So if we have to do the maintenance swap installation and system update, the customer will lose more money by using cheaper lead acid batteries.
