Introducing Monaco Italian Kitchen, a 3,524 SF dining concept in Irvine designed around one bold idea: no straight walls. Curves run through the architecture, millwork, and custom banquette nooks, creating a sense of movement and making the space feel larger than it is. At the center, a dramatic hanging bar installation and custom mural draws the eye upward, while lighting alone shifts the room's energy from lunch to happy hour to dinner. As a Technical Manager, WELL AP and Fitwell Ambassador, Jordan brings something to every project she touches: the ability to make a space both visually compelling and strategically sound. At Hendy, the people make the place. Ten years ago, Carolina Weidler joined us to lead our Science and Technology Studio. Since then, she has helped shape who we are as a firm and continues to guide and inspire us today as Co-CEO.

Carolina brings over 25 years of experience designing process-driven environments for high-tech industries, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and a way of leading that makes the people around her better. She shows up, she collaborates, and she builds - not just spaces, but the kind of culture worth staying for.

A familiar face is back.

We are thrilled to welcome Todd Nakanishi back to Hendy, as a Senior Job Captain. Bringing deep expertise in office and mixed-use developments, Todd ensures every project is set up for success from the ground up.

His previous Hendy projects include SAP Innovation Center & HanaHaus, Pacific Global Asset Management, Squar Milner, Reveal Playa Vista, and AMLI Marina Del Rey. And his best work is still ahead.

A space that doesn’t just look good, but also works hard.

Healthpeak Properties, a leading real estate investment trust, wanted to design with a clear mission: transform their Irvine office into a space that supports hiring, engagement, and retention from the ground up; because where you work shapes how you work.

The result? 20,380 SF of elevated, modern design where every detail serves a purpose. Polished concrete, exposed ceilings, and custom brass accents create an environment that feels both refined and alive - and a lounge with a telescopic door means the breakroom and coffee bar become one seamless place to gather, recharge, and connect.

This is what it looks like when a brand's identity lives in its walls.

When you design a headquarters for one of the world's most iconic color brands, the space has to say something.

Hendy's work on Behr's 230,000 square foot project was built around one idea - honoring the culture, history and creative spirit that makes Behr who they are. The result is a space with everything a growing organization needs: formal meeting and training rooms, war rooms, dedicated innovation and data spaces, and a beautiful tiered indoor-outdoor area that brings the energy of the outdoors into the heart of the building.
