A little prep work goes a long way!

Recently, we had a client who experienced a water loss in there home that resulted in a restoration vendor needing to remove their vanity cabinet and some drywall.

Normally, when contractors detach vanity cabinets, they often cut off the angle stops inside and cap the water pipes to make the process easier.

While this is considered best practice, it can also result in the water pipes being cut a little short.

Before new drywall and cabinetry can be re-installed, it's important to have those water pipes re-stubbed to their proper lengths. This will ensure that the drywall and cabinet installation process is smooth and easy, and that new angle stop valves can be installed and water supplies reconnected properly.

You may notice your pipes leaking, this can be a common winter issue with the fluctuating temperatures - but it also happens all year round!
