Pre-Emergent W**d Control: Now is the time to apply pre-emergent herbicides to stop crabgrass and dandelions before soil temperatures hit 55°F.
Structural Pruning: Take advantage of dormant trees. Prune crape myrtles, roses, and deciduous shrubs now to encourage healthy spring growth.
Soil Testing: Georgia’s red clay often needs lime to balance pH levels. Conduct a soil test now through the UGA Cooperative Extension so you can amend the soil before the peak growing season.
