A great day on the course for a great cause! ⛳

Some of the Housewright team participated in AIA Vermont's Annual Guy Teschmacher Memorial Golf Tournament last Thursday at Williston Golf Club. We were proud to sponsor this year's event, with proceeds benefiting the Hanne N. Williams Scholar Recognition Fund of AIA Vermont.

And we couldn't leave without a little bragging... Housewright took home Longest Drive AND Closest to the Pin! 🏌️👏

If you’ve driven by our office lately, you’ve probably noticed how stunning they look. Every season somehow seems even more beautiful than the last, and that’s a testament to the care, creativity, and hard work Stacy and her team put into our flower bed.

We truly appreciate all they do to help make our office a welcoming place for our employees, clients, and everyone passing by. Thank you for making our little corner of Newbury shine!

Behind every exceptional project is a team that's committed to learning, growing, and working safely.

Last week, our team spent three days at United Rentals in White River Junction completing Counterbalance & Rough Terrain Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift training, with both new certifications and recertifications to ensure everyone has the knowledge and confidence to get the job done safely.

Investing in our team doesn't stop at the jobsite. Ongoing training is an important part of maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship, professionalism, and safety that Housewright is known for.

A big thank you to United Rentals for hosting the training and helping our team continue to build their skills.

Housewright Construction is proud to support our CFO, Jodi Ovens, as she completed her 15th The Prouty and Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center this year.

When asked what keeps her coming back, Jodi explained that The Prouty is about far more than the ride. "Every year, the moment I walk into registration to pick up my rider tag and drop off the donations I've collected, I feel an overwhelming sense of belonging. Fifteen years later, that feeling still gives me a lump in my throat and makes me emotional."

Jodi described this year's ride as one of the most memorable yet; with beautiful weather, an inspiring community, and loads of volunteers young and old alike who cheered her on throughout the day.

We're honored to support Jodi's commitment to this remarkable cause and congratulate her on fifteen years of riding to make a difference.

Vermont Works for Women is now accepting applications for its free Trailblazers training program in St. Johnsbury. This seven-week, hands-on program helps participants build practical skills, gain confidence, and explore opportunities in the skilled trades.

Participants will build practical skills, earn their OSHA 10 certification, and complete a two-week onsite work experience with a local employer.
