Part 3 of Wimbledon Reno you get to see the deck, and garage area and how we tied everything all together in this project!

Framing is underway—and this project is about more than adding square footage. 🔨

Alongside the addition, we’re upgrading the existing home from the outside in: removing the old sheathing, air-sealing and reinsulating the walls, and installing new ZIP System sheathing.

That’s all in preparation for new siding, exterior trim, soffits, fascia, and gutters. A lot of this work will eventually be covered up, but it matters just as much as the finished look.

Next up: getting the addition weather-tight, then moving into rough-ins.

The goal here was to create an open-concept 1st floor that completely changed how the kitchen, dining room and family room function together. We opened up the old separated spaces and built the new kitchen layout around an oversized island with plenty of prep space, seating and storage.

Some of our favorite details are the two-tone cabinetry, Calacatta Bellini quartz, brass accents, custom range wall, integrated lighting, coffee bar and separate desk area.

A lot of moving pieces went into this one, but the finished space speaks for itself. It’s the same house, but it feels entirely different.
