I got this really cool Epipremnum banakon at the plant show a couple weeks ago. I've had it in a quarantine box since I found scale on one of the free cuttings I had in with it.

I guess the box was too humid because check out this fungus that grew on the support stick! 🍄‍🟫😳

Check out the pictures of it under the microscope at the end of the reel!

I removed the stick, rinsed the plant, changed the substrate, and gave it a plastic stick for support. I've also started opening the box twice a day for airflow.

Anything else you would suggest or will it be fine now that the stick is gone?

This is the first time in a while that I have plans that DON'T revolve around PLANTS (or baseball)!

I'm going to see the Twenty Øne Pilots Hometown show in Columbus tomorrow!

My daughter and I are both HUGE fans and this will be our 5th time seeing them in concert!

Expect to see other TØP related posts this weekend because I am PUMPED! 🙌

Earlier this year I moved my Manjula pothos to sphagnum moss.

I started growing more of my pothos in sphagnum ever since I left some cuttings in sphagnum for WAY TOO LONG and realized how great they looked.
My procrastination helped me find something that seems to work really well for me! 🤷‍♀️

I also moved it to a pot with a wick. I don't keep the reservoir full but fill it when the sphagnum is ALMOST completely dry so it can bottom water. I use fertilizer half strength (2.5ml Superthrive foliage pro) every time I water.

It's never been happier!

I installed a magnetic knife holder above my potting station for super easy access to my most used tools!

It's amazing how much stuff I can get done when I don't have to sit on the floor to do plant chores and I'm not digging through drawers looking for stuff 🤷‍♀️

What 'hack' do you use to make plant chores easier?

I've never propagated String of Turtles with just leaf cuttings, but I'm going to try!

String of Turtles are actually a type of peperomia! Peperomias are known for being able to propagate by just a leaf, no stem or node necessary!

The little piece still attached is part of the leaf and not the stem. I left those on to have something to push down in the substrate. I'm using a fluval stratum/perlite mix in a condiment cup.
