PROOF OF AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED
FOR COMPANY-OWNED VEHICLES
Xpress Lock-Out Service provides automotive key service for auctions, fleets, dealerships, rental companies, repair shops, city/county garages, and commercial vehicles.
If the vehicle is owned by a company, dealership, auction, fleet, rental agency, repair facility, government department, or commercial organization, the person requesting key service must be authorized to request service for that vehicle.
This applies to:
✔ Auction site managers
✔ Fleet managers
✔ Dealership managers
✔ Rental car representatives
✔ Repair shop representatives
✔ City/county garage managers
✔ Company employees
✔ Mobile technicians or diagnosticians working under authorization
WHAT WE MAY REQUIRE:
For auction, fleet, dealership, rental, repair, or company-owned vehicles, proper documentation may be required before service is performed.
Acceptable authorization may include:
✔ Signed work order
✔ Purchase order
✔ Repair order
✔ Invoice
✔ Fleet service request
✔ Company authorization letter
✔ Auction or dealership service request
✔ Rental company authorization
✔ City/county garage authorization
The paperwork must clearly connect the requestor, company, and vehicle.
REQUIRED VEHICLE DETAILS:
Please include:
✔ Company name
✔ Contact person and position
✔ Phone number or email
✔ Vehicle year, make, and model
✔ VIN
✔ Vehicle location
✔ Type of key service needed
✔ Work order, purchase order, invoice, or authorization document
IMPORTANT POLICY:
A vehicle being parked at an auction, dealership, repair shop, fleet garage, or service lot does not automatically authorize key service.
We do not make keys based only on:
❌ “It’s on the lot.”
❌ “I’m working on it.”
❌ “The manager told me to call.”
❌ “It’s a fleet vehicle.”
❌ “It belongs to the company.”
❌ “We do these all the time.”
SIMPLE RULE:
No signed work order, purchase order, invoice, or company authorization = no key service.
Documentation protects the owner, the company, the technician, and the locksmith.
