••Sometimes the smallest spaces become your favorite place to be••

Not every custom feature has to be grand to make a lasting impact.

This cozy window seat transforms an unused nook into the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, dive into a good book, or simply pause and take in the view. With built-in storage below, warm wood accents, and natural light pouring in, it’s a simple detail that adds both beauty and purpose to the home.

At RK Construction, we believe thoughtful design is about creating spaces that fit your lifestyle, not just filling square footage.

••Your home should be your favorite place to unwind••

The primary bathroom isn’t just another room, it’s where your day begins and where it comes to an end. That’s why we believe it should feel like a private retreat.

This custom design blends clean lines, timeless finishes, and thoughtful functionality. A spacious walk-in shower, relaxing soaking tub, custom vanity, and warm accent lighting create a space that’s both beautiful and practical.

It’s a reminder that luxury isn’t always about adding more, it’s about designing spaces that make everyday life feel a little more special.

At RK Construction, we work with homeowners to create bathrooms that are as relaxing as they are functional, with every finish carefully selected to fit their style and lifestyle.

Because every day deserves to start and end in a space you love.

••The Heart of the Home••

Some spaces naturally bring people together.

Whether it’s cozy evenings by the fire, holiday traditions, game days, or quiet mornings with a cup of coffee, the living room is where some of life’s best memories are made.

This custom great room was designed with both beauty and function in mind. The floor-to-ceiling built-ins provide timeless storage and display space, while the bold fireplace surround creates a stunning focal point. The open layout flows effortlessly into the kitchen, making it the perfect place to gather with family and friends.

At RK Construction, we don’t just build beautiful homes, we create spaces designed for the moments that matter most.

If this were your living room, what would you be doing first? Cozy movie night, hosting family, or relaxing by the fireplace?

••It’s the details that define a custom home••

A powder room may be one of the smallest spaces in a home, but that doesn’t mean it should be overlooked.

This custom vanity combines clean lines, rich walnut tones, and elegant brass fixtures to create a space that feels both modern and timeless. The fluted wood detail adds warmth and texture, while the backlit mirror and statement sconces bring just the right touch of luxury.

It’s proof that thoughtful design isn’t measured by square footage, it’s measured by the experience it creates.

Because every room, no matter its size, deserves the same level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

At RK Construction, we build homes where every detail matters.

••A custom home should reflect the way you live and the things you love••

Every custom feature tells a story.

For some, it’s a chef’s kitchen.
For others, it’s a cozy reading nook or a spa-inspired bathroom.

And for this homeowner? A dedicated bourbon and w**e room designed to display, store, and enjoy a carefully curated collection.

The warm wood cabinetry, classic brick walls, custom w**e storage, and built-in display shelving create a space that’s equal parts functional and timeless. It’s more than a storage room, it’s a destination for entertaining friends, celebrating milestones, and making memories.

That’s the beauty of building custom. Your home should be designed around your lifestyle, your passions, and the moments that matter most.

Because the best homes aren’t built from a standard floor plan, they’re built around the people who live in them.

At RK Construction, we build homes where every detail matters.

Friday was a great day at Keim’s Pro Day!

We had the opportunity to spend the day networking, connecting with product reps, and learning more about some of the latest and greatest products Keim has to offer.

But what I appreciate most about Keim goes far beyond the products they sell. They truly set the bar for customer service. It never feels like just a business transaction - they genuinely care about the people they serve and the relationships they build.
Their mission to be Christ-like isn’t just something written on a wall. You can see it in the way they treat people, the way they serve, and the way they do business. “Always do the right thing” is a pretty powerful standard to operate by.

We’re incredibly thankful for our partnership with Keim and proud to have them play a part in so many of our projects.

And BTW… the food was incredible, but that ice cream with the black raspberry syrup might have stolen the show, for me at least.

Thank you, Keim, for the hospitality and another great Pro Day!

••One color. Endless impact.••

Color drenching is one of today’s most timeless design trends and for good reason.

By carrying the same rich color across the walls, trim, and millwork, this primary bedroom creates a cozy, sophisticated retreat that feels intentional and effortlessly elegant. Instead of breaking up the space, the continuous color wraps the room in warmth, making it feel calm, inviting, and perfectly balanced.

Paired with abundant natural light and soft neutral furnishings, the result is a space that’s both bold and relaxing.

Design isn’t just about choosing a paint color, it’s about creating an atmosphere.

We help our homeowners make thoughtful design choices that turn a house into a home they’ll love for years to come.

At RK Construction, we build homes where every detail matters.

••Luxury is found in the details you use every day••

A well-designed bathroom should do more than look beautiful, it should make your daily routine feel effortless.

This custom vanity blends warm natural wood cabinetry, sleek black fixtures, quartz countertops, and layered lighting to create a space that’s both functional and inviting. Floor-to-ceiling storage keeps everything organized, while the under-cabinet lighting adds a subtle touch of luxury that’s appreciated morning and night.

It’s a perfect example of how thoughtful design turns everyday spaces into something special.

Because in a custom home, every detail has a purpose and every room deserves the same level of care.

At RK Construction, we build homes where every detail matters.

••Your Favorite Room Might Be Outside••

Imagine starting your morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying dinner with family as the sun sets, or gathering with friends long after the temperature drops.

This custom covered outdoor living space was designed to be enjoyed in every season. From the stunning tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and expansive views to the built-in infrared heater and comfortable seating, every detail creates an outdoor retreat that feels just as inviting as the inside of the home.

Because outdoor living shouldn’t be limited to a few months each year, it should be an extension of your home.

At RK Construction, we build spaces that bring people together, inside and out.

If this was your backyard, how would you spend your first evening here? 🔥☕🌅
