Building an NYC skyscraper todays date is peanuts compared to how on earth this monumental structure of worship was built 142 years ago without any machinery or technology. Every single piece of solid stone cast in place and carried up by hand 🖐️. The ornate detail into every single profile is unmatched parallel. And to think that almost a century and a half later that it's still ongoing and the complexity of building today around the historic preservation it needs to attain. Makes this industry and its leaders not take for granted the manPOWER that was consumed into this and the overall architectural beauty that other places besides America has 🇪🇸 ⛪️ 🏗️ 💪🏻 🦺
