Yes- these are termites. Unusual amount of large swarms happening the last few weeks. Most likely due to the excessive moisture the last few years.

Posting this for an old buddy that doesn’t have Facebook. Deputy Chief Joe Gulotta put this together. The climb is filled but you can still donate. As many of you know Det. Filler was murdered while on duty and Tunnel to Towers paid of the mortgage for his young family. It’s truly the best charity I know, run by a longtime friend.
