One of my more unusual projects from 1999—

Back in the early 2000's it was featured in the German magazine "Architecture & Wohnen" and two books out of Barcelona: "Maximalist Interiors" and "Lofts - Designer & Design".

Always interesting to revisit the work I did with Michael Somoroff - days and days of discussions - on this 2,500 sq ft SoHo Loft. As we could not find any contractor who would seriously consider taking it on we also were effectively the general contractor as well.

I follow the client, but I also push them somewhere unexpected. The best projects are the ones that surprise both of us, and end up feeling uniquely them.

Entry - East Midtown Penthouse | 📍New York, NY

A minimal Foyer with a fantastic art piece that leads one into the space. Cantilevered off the same wall are a custom glove table we made from a "leftover" piece of a slab we used for an outdoor dining table we designed and a bench to pull your shoes on and off.

Custom Master Bathroom Vanity | East Midtown Penthouse

The client had always wanted a mirror like this...We designed the asymmetrical deco-style dressing table (and stool) to support it.

Here I am adding the finishing touches on a fun custom wall treatment in a long hallway.

This functional design allows for coats and even shoes to be hung on the lower sides of the openings.
