Man In Motion is looking for a dedicated, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant and Interns to join our team! Dancers, dance teachers, stay-at-home dance parents, college students (for Admin Asst.), and high school seniors (for Interns) will all be considered.

Man In Motion is a network of dance educators created to fill a specific need in dance education. The network serves as a resource to dance studio owners looking for part-time or full-time teachers, guest teachers for master classes or workshops, choreographers for competition, faculty for in-studio conventions, and emergency teacher subs. We also host various NYC events and act as a producer to many performance opportunities for young dancers.

Created in 2013, it predominantly served the New York and New Jersey area. Now in 2024, the network has extended to Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and beyond, and currently has over 200 male and female dance educators on the roster.

Responsibilities include: Emails, calls, follow ups, scheduling, record keeping, errands, on-site event assistance, etc.

Administrative Assistants & Interns can:

— Earn hourly pay plus bonuses (Assistant) or stipend (Interns)
— Work from home with some onsite duties required (Assistant & Interns)
— Have a flexible schedule, as low as 10-15 hours (Assistant) or 5 hours (Interns). The Administrative Assistant position is long-term while Interns only work September 2024 - December 2024 (3-month term).

Requirements:

- Must reside in NY, NJ or CT
- Have great communication skills
- Be detailed oriented
- Have a background in dance or dance education A+ (but not required)
- Have a vehicle or driver’s license A+ (but not required)

Join us on Sun. Oct. 29 in New York City for this special dance master class event with the most creepy, most scary, Halloween theme.

Come learn original choreography from the Broadway show, WICKED with Hunter Mikles (from Wicked, on Broadway) and take a haunting hip-hop class and learn some sick and twisted choreography with Elio Alvarez.

The day will end with some final tricks and treats including a faculty performance, an exclusive Halloween-themed gift bag for all dancers, and gifts/scholarships being awarded by our season sponsors.

Seeking someone talented in the area of SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP or HALLOWEEN FACE PAINTING for a highly-anticipated dance video/short film to be released on all social media outlets this Halloween.

The job is most suited for someone who can coach young dancers in creating a Wolf-like face with theatrical makeup. Dancers will provide their own makeup from a specific list you provide and they will apply makeup with your step-by-step instruction.

Must be available on Sun. Oct 8 (morning). New York City location. $85/hour plus production credit and tagged on all social media outlets.
