Umberto Squarcia Jr.

lives and works in New York City. After classical studies in Parma, Italy, he graduated from the University of Architecture of Rome, Italy. At the end of 1998 he moved to New York where he worked at M/G New York Architects, specialized in interior design at the Parsons Design School and in 2005 he created his own design company practicing a wide variety of architectural services: Historical restor

ation & conservation, buildings alterations, interior design & renovation, design-built, construction management & supervision, furniture design, industrial design, fashion & jewelry design, photography, guided tours to the architecture & art of Italy. He formed the Columbi Experience, an internship program for foreign students. All these professional grounds generate and inspire the creative process of Umberto’s artworks.
