CWC jobsites proudly participated in the Third Annual Construction Su***de Prevention Week, joining organizations across the industry in a collective effort to promote mental health awareness and worker wellbeing. Held during National Su***de Prevention Month, the initiative focused on educating employees about the unique stressors facing construction professionals, increasing awareness of available support resources, and encouraging open conversations about mental health. Through continued education, engagement, and support, we can help create a stronger, healthier workforce and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our colleagues and their families.

We continue our work at the Bronx Community College Express project for DASNY. The New Entry Vestibule is nearing completion for water- tightness. Check out the “before” and “after” photos. The structural walls completed earlier this year are now supporting structural steel framing, metal roof deck and concrete, framed and sheathed fascia, roofing, waterproofing and exterior glass walls and doors. Thank you to DASNY and Dattner Architects, and all of our subcontractors especially Clear Contracting, Freedom Iron Works, AFI Glass & Architectural Metals, Eagle One Roofing, JD Traditional Industries.

Construction activities at the Mount Sinai Queens ICU project continue to advance, with significant progress being made on the overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure. Crews are actively performing overhead MEP rough-in activities from aerial lifts. Layout and coordination activities continue throughout the space to confirm accurate placement of MEP systems, walls, and future clinical equipment in accordance with project plans. Overall, construction activities remain well coordinated, with MEP rough-in, layout verification, and system installations progressing in preparation for upcoming inspections and finish work.
