A closer look at the kitchen of our Tribeca Loft renovation.

Designed as the heart of the open-plan home, the kitchen brings together white cabinetry, dark accents, statuary marble, and a custom-built island within a layout designed around both everyday function and a sense of openness.

The renovation extends far beyond the kitchen, with work in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallway, as well as on the floors and in other areas of the loft.

Sometimes, finding the right home happens when you least expect it.

After nearly a year of searching in New York City, one conversation with friends led to an apartment that immediately felt different. The natural light, the atmosphere, and the feeling of being at home from the very first visit made the decision easy.

That was the beginning. What followed was the process of turning that first feeling into a home shaped around the people who would live there.

Atelier Jean Rousseau in Manhattan
Turning a white-box commercial space into a custom retail environment required more than a new interior fit-out. The project had to accommodate product displays, client reception, and a partially visible fabrication process within a two-month construction schedule.

2MO completed most of the renovation after business hours. The work included custom display cabinetry with integrated lighting, new flooring and ceilings, wall treatments, and electrical work. The layout was divided into reception, salon, and private fabrication areas, giving each part of the customer experience its own place in the store.

Custom millwork and curved-corner showcases complete the space while reflecting the precision of Jean Rousseau’s leather goods.

For the Ridgewood staircase, a thoughtful update changed the way the entire structure feels within the space.

What once felt dated now has a cleaner, more contemporary presence, creating a stronger connection with the surrounding interior.

The staircase remains part of the original architecture, but the way it reads is completely different.

At NISI in Times Square, the details were essential to translating the Mediterranean concept across three floors.
From the custom stone guardrail and rope-woven ceiling to copper-toned bar tiles, light wood, and textured stucco, each material was selected and incorporated to create warmth, depth, and a cohesive identity throughout the space.

Even under complex construction and budget constraints, thoughtful fabrication and precise ex*****on allowed the original design vision to remain intact.
In a high-end space, the details don’t simply finish the design - they define it.

A rooftop designed around one of New York’s best features.

Created in collaboration with DMDesign and Architecture, the renovation introduced a moveable glass canopy for year-round use, decorative panels that frame the skyline, and a fabric-and-light ceiling that creates a more intimate atmosphere.

The result is a rooftop venue where the architecture works with the cityscape rather than competing with it.

Bespoke joinery, considered material choices, and refined finishes create continuity throughout the residence, while a complete systems upgrade brings the home in line with contemporary living.
