A moment from my recent travels.
I loved how this space feels both monumental and surprisingly calm.
There’s so much happening here, structure, books, movement, daylight, yet everything feels organized around one generous central space.
It’s a reminder of something I think about often in residential design too. Architecture isn’t only about how a space looks. It’s about how light, scale, movement, and proportion shape the way we feel when we’re in it.
Those are always the details I come home thinking about.
