10 YEARS OF RITZ RENOVATION
This week marks a milestone that means a lot to me: 10 years in business.
Ten years ago, I took a chance on myself.
I had tools, experience, a strong work ethic and a belief that I could build something of my own. So I took the leap and started Ritz Renovation, Inc.
I didn’t know exactly where it would take me. I just knew that I wanted to do good work, treat people right, build a reputation I could be proud of, and see what I was capable of.
Looking back now, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.
There have been hundreds of projects, thousands of long days, plenty of mistakes and lessons, some incredible customers, and challenges that tested me in ways I never expected. I’ve grown tremendously as a contractor, a business owner and as a person.
And somehow, 10 years later, we’re still here. Still working. Still growing. Still building.
That’s something I don’t take lightly.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, only about 40% of construction businesses in one tracked cohort were still operating 10 years after they started.
So today, I’m allowing myself to stop for a minute and appreciate this one.
I took a chance on myself—and it worked.
But I certainly didn’t do it alone.
Thank you to every person who has trusted Ritz Renovation with their home over the last 10 years. Thank you to everyone who hired us, hired us again, referred us to friends and family, left a five-star review, shared our work, supported the business, or simply told someone, “Call Steven.”
A huge part of what Ritz has become was built through your trust and your word of mouth. I will never take that for granted.
I’m grateful for where I started. I’m proud of how far I’ve come. And I’m incredibly excited about where I’m going next.
10 years down. Here’s to the next chapter.
