Manifest is a sculptural third place where architecture moves and embraces, unfolding through a series of distinct, purpose-driven spaces.

At street level, the barbershop and the cafe pavilion connect under a light sage-green barrel vault of sweeping formal grandeur. The ritual of the barbershop is architecturally framed as a cultural symbol of stability and continuity.

Sculptural, structural, and striking all at once.

Inspired by the building’s original 1950 canopy, this lobby staircase releases the inner curve of plate steel. Engineered from 147 linear feet of steel burnished to a warm charcoal gray and detailed with 5,872 precision perforations, it connects the two lobby levels while serving as the room’s central artwork.

By pairing this raw industrial steel with warm, tactile wood and sweeping geometry, the design softens the arrival experience, transforming the space into a luxe, welcoming site for connection and creation.

Iris reimagines how sustenance, design, and social life intersect, grounding the architectural transformation of 1740 Broadway through tactile, high-craft details.

Hand-carved blond wood, mirror-finish chrome, and a sculpted inverted-deck ceiling bring the sleek feel of an Aegean yacht to Midtown. Every detail, from the low-slung banquettes to the ambient pools of light, is tuned to turn a meal into a restorative retreat.

An intensely personal portrait of INC’s ethos, our studio was designed to be deeply human, dynamic, ever-evolving, and richly layered.

It’s officially September, which means we are less than 30 days away from the release of Us Is More!

Our studio is a physical reflection of the practice behind the book. When we first moved into our SoHo location in 2017, we pared the space back to its architectural shell, uncovering original 1930s concrete aggregate filled with whole pebbles and natural gravel.

The columns, walls, and ceiling were sandblasted to bring forward the natural and honest beauty of the existing raw concrete, while the floor was polished to a high-gloss finish throughout. Paradoxically more warm than brutal, the space has since served as a historic backdrop grounding our forward-looking firm.

At Restaurant Latour, the landscape is as much a part of the design as the architecture itself. Natural materials, tactile finishes, and panoramic views of the Kittatinny Mountains blur the boundary between dining room and landscape creating an experience deeply rooted in place.
