Summer, sailed. ⛵️🗽

Our team celebrated another great summer together aboard the Schooner Adirondack last night! Lady Liberty made a cameo, drinks were poured, and the skyline never looked better. Cheers to the people who make the work (and the fun) happen, and let's have a great rest of the year!

It was an honor to work alongside Castlery on the opening of their first U.S. flagship in Chelsea! A team that brought real intention to every decision, from the rich wood millwork and classical columns to the intimate room sets within. The result is something we're genuinely proud to have been a part of.

Congratulations on your New York home, Castlery US! 🤍

There's something about working inside a building that already has a hundred years of presence on one of New York's most iconic blocks. The New York Life Building — a Beaux-Arts landmark at 25th and Madison — those arched bronze windows, the carved stone facade. The interior holds that history in tension with something rawer and more contemporary.

Raw exposed concrete columns, riveted steel structure, long unobstructed sightlines, and a spatial openness that feels more like a museum gallery than a traditional retail floor. The idea was that the architecture should give the clothes room to exist as what Issey Miyake has always treated them as — objects worth looking at slowly. Glass-topped display tables, minimal fixtures, generous spacing. Nothing competing for attention.

The floating staircase was a particular labor of love, structurally supported by load-bearing glass panels, it connects the two levels while keeping the floor below feeling completely open.

We're really proud of this one. Go check it out if you're in the city.

Known for its coastal roots, Faherty Brand's Vail, CO location called for a thoughtful reimagining of the brand's identity. Our design bridges that gap, honoring that relaxed, sun-warmed aesthetic while fully embracing the mountain vernacular of Vail Village. Knotty pine paneling, rich leather seating, and native-pattern rugs ground the space in its alpine surroundings, creating an atmosphere that feels both true to the brand and at home in the Rockies 🏂

Located at the base of the iconic MetLife Building on E. 45th St., Giulietta is more than just a casual Italian restaurant — it’s a dining destination.
Step inside and the pressures of Midtown fade, replaced by the warmth and charm of an Italian piazza.
Reducing sound from busy Park Avenue was one of the primary challenges we were eager to take on. By integrating acoustic treatment panels into the ceiling construction, we minimized vibrations from vehicular traffic overhead and created intimate, comfortable dining rooms that still take advantage of views toward Vanderbilt Avenue.
Layered finishes, thoughtful detailing, and a beautifully executed interior make this space truly special.

Proud to have helped bring Giulietta to life.

We’ve had the pleasure of designing a number of Faherty’s locations, and their latest store at The Arcade in Nashville brings their easygoing, Music City–inspired spirit to life 🌊✨ Every detail was crafted to create a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere where visitors can feel right at home.

Building BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE’s first U.S. flagship—and only standalone store outside of Asia—was a special one for the OLA team.

The design centers around a glowing ceiling light, inspired by the Japanese irori, a place where people gather and connect. It’s both sculptural and symbolic, drawing visitors in and anchoring the space with warmth.

Every detail supports the brand’s global vision, creating a space that feels thoughtful, intentional, and uniquely BAO BAO.
