Within Williamsburg’s urban density, a connection to nature becomes paramount. The outdoor spaces at Frost were designed with a clear intent: to provide each residence with its own dedicated “green lung.”

Conceived as a seamless extension of the interior, these private expansions act as vital pockets of respite. Through a thoughtful integration of landscaping, every patio and terrace breathes life into daily living, offering an intimate sanctuary that balances the city’s intensity with our innate need for the natural world.

The project is articulated through a brick and metal envelope, conceived as a protective filter against the street’s urban scale. This exterior “skin” creates a measured transition from the neighborhood’s energy and industrial heritage into a bright, organic interior core defined by clean lines. Frost was designed to strike a precise balance between the tectonic presence of its facade and the serenity of residential comfort.

We translated the building’s essence into the intimate scale of the interior apartments, where the lobby’s brick evolves into a delicate palette of terracotta and ochre. Continuing the design language of the common areas, we integrated rich woods, organic-shaped lighting, and rhythmic geometric patterns which achieve an aesthetic of timeless glamour.

The result is a balance of sophistication and warmth that defines a new era of residential luxury in Brooklyn.
