A Garden for Well-Being
What a difference a year makes! Since its June 2025 ribbon-cutting, Emerald Terrace at Mary Manning Walsh Home has blossomed into a lush, welcoming rooftop garden. Designed as a restorative sanctuary for elderly and recovering residents, this once-underutilized terrace now offers a richly planted outdoor environment where comfort, beauty, and nature come together.
Shaded seating areas, intimate gathering spaces, and seasonal planting invite relaxation, social connection, and quiet reflection.
Emerald Terrace shows how even a modestly scaled rooftop can become a meaningful landscape—enriching daily life through nature's restorative power.
