MAOarch was thrilled to welcome the WHSAD students back to the studio, where they presented their work, received feedback and insight, as well as encouragement from our professional architecture team.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Morgan, who recently completed a two-week Externship with MAOarch, mentored by Jaydon, and shared her experience with the team. Hearing her reflect on her experience was such a rewarding reminder of the impact that hands-on learning and mentorship can have.

At MAOarch, we believe in investing in the next generation of designers by creating opportunities to learn, explore, ask questions, and experience the profession firsthand. We’re honored to be part of their journey and can’t wait to see where their creativity takes them! ✍️🏗️

Our annual potluck is always a favorite MAOarch tradition - a chance to come together and celebrate the beautiful mix of cultures that make our team who we are.

From dishes inspired by the places and traditions that helped shape each of us, to the stories shared around the table, it was a reminder that great design comes from great people - and diverse perspectives.

So grateful for a team that brings so much talent, creativity, and, clearly, culinary skill to the table. 🌎🧑‍🍳

Last week, we immersed ourselves into the world of fashion design at Christian Siriano’s atelier for Fashion Week Bootcamp. From sketching gowns and learning to drape to crafting fabric flowers and receiving feedback from Christian himself, the experience offered a firsthand look at the creativity and craftsmanship behind the industry that inspires so many of the spaces we design.

Equally valuable were the connections made with fellow creatives, designers, and makers as we put our artistry to the test. Immersing ourselves in our clients’ worlds helps us better understand their vision, process, and priorities - insight that ultimately informs the spaces we design.

The day served as an inspiring reminder that creativity thrives through curiosity, connection, and immersion.
