We love platyceriums! This genus of epiphytic plant has been around since the dinosaur era. While commonly known as "staghorn fern" platyceriums are not fern at all. The care is also far easier than taking care of ferns.
This one in particular is called platycerium elephantotis. Just as the name suggests, this platycerium can grow quite to an impressive size.
If you ever decide to own one, get it mounted on a board like this, as it resembles more of its growing conditions in nature. We found these plastic tiles from to be the best board for mounting staghorn, as they don't rust or decaying overtime, has nice contrast with the staghorn itself, and ... Quite affordable.
