The Seaport Culture District is an arts initiative that gathers together an exciting group of NYC cultural organizations, including the Guggenheim Museum, HarperCollins and Center for Architecture, the American Institute of Graphic Arts/NY Chapter, Eyebeam, No Longer Empty, Arup, and Art Start. From late August to the end of December, the Seaport Culture District will present a wide variety of exh

ibitions, art installations, and projection projects, as well as over 100 public programs addressing the future of art, architecture, design, tech, film and video, books and publishing, and, of course, the city itself. In October, the AIA space will become Archtober Hall, the focal point for Archtober, the citywide festival of the built environment. This page will be a hub announcing the installations and events taking place. We invite you to take part in this cultural evolution of the Seaport district and lower Manhattan as a whole, and witness an innovative new model for the transformation of city districts. Come down and celebrate this transformation of the Seaport area's historic upland blocks!
