Our Propagation Station —our little sanctuary. 🌵🌿

It is here that cactus trimmings and plant cuttings get a second chance to grow and thrive. Some people see scraps; we see potential. That's the beauty of being plant geeks—who doesnt love making babies? Life is good . 💚

Hail the Mesquite Tree!!!!
One of the best trees you can plant in our valley because of it's nativity to the desert and its many benefits.

💧 Drought tolerant: They thrive with very little water, making them perfect for desert landscapes

🌳 Improves the soil: Mesquite trees are nitrogen-fixing, meaning they help add nitrogen to the soil, making it healthier for surrounding plants

🌎 Native to Arizona: Mesquite trees are naturally adapted to the desert, making them a sustainable, low-maintenance choice for landscaping.

Trees, vital for living here in the desert. Scratch that! Just vital!
Great post, had to share.

One large mature tree removes 60–70 times more pollution than a small tree.

It's so important that we not only plant new trees, but protecting and preserving the ones we have in our forests and communities! 💪

Isn’t this the truth?

So important...❤

There are a multitude of reasons why we choose not to hedge client's shrubs.
Hard truths:
Constantly shearing shrubs into tight shapes can damage their natural form, reduce flowering, and create a dense outer shell that blocks sunlight from reaching the inside creating nothing but naked dead sticks inside the bush.
Shrubs being sheared repeatedly creates deep piles of rotten moldy debris stuck inside the bush (sometimes 2' high) harboring insects and possible disease.

"My Sanctuary" believes in proper pruning to keep shrubs healthier, stronger, and looking their best while maintaining their natural beauty and movement in the garden.

Proof? It's in the pictures!
