Hey folks, it may be cooling off out there but remember just because the water is clear doesn't make it clean. There's no substitute for a good sanitizer or oxidizer! Chlorine, bromine, salt water, UV, you name it--all are great options for keeping that water safe and that pool clean.

The general answer? "That sweet spot between the end of summer, and the beginning of winter."

Most pools in Southern New England will be closed for winter between Labor Day weekend and Thanksgiving. This helps you get as much swim time as you want, but also properly protect your system from freezing conditions which can damage a pump, heater, and even pipes.
