Watch these ants in HD... incredible! This job is the definition of a fire ant infestation. Imagine fire ants in your bed sheets. This is serious folks. We ran a ghost ant call today for one of our customers in New Port Richey. For any of you reading this post that has delt with ghost ants in the past or is dealing with them now, you know these little guys travel quite a distance. Our customer was seeing a few every couple of days by their coffee pot. Ultimate Pest Management is a different kind of pest control company. We found the ants by the coffee pot but didn't stop there. We followed the ants back to where they originated from. The nest was actually under the door threshold in the next room! A thorough inspection has to be done in order to find the source of the problem. We could have treated the kitchen and left. The ants would have shown up in the office in a matter of time. We took the time to track down the source. Problem solved in one 40 minute trip, instead of putting on a bandage in 10 minutes. These photos will show the process to find the source. Ultimate Pest Management renewed our yearly pest control for one of our long time customers in New Port Richey today. Today starts year 18! You know that you are doing something right when a customer continues with the service for this length of time. Over the years this customer has referred us numerous accounts. Ultimate Pest Management ran an ant service call today for one of our long time customers in Hudson. The little bit of rain we have gotten lately has woken up the insect population. These Argentine ants have found a way into the wood frame house. Our customer found live ants crawling in the living room and bathroom. I did my inspection and found the ants coming in under the baseboard in the living room and under the tub in the bathroom. Here are some photos of areas we have treated. We did a new yearly pest control for a customer in Trinity, FL. This client's main concern was safe products. All of our products are People and Pet Safe! After our inspection we let the customer know that there were no existing pest issues. This service was done as a preventive service. Here is a different type of post for you. I'll give you the reason. Our Port Richey customer has 2 houses that we service. Their house in New Port Richey and the rental pictured here in Port Richey. The tenants finally moved out. There has been a ghost ant problem in the house for at least 2 months. Every time we made an appointment to get in the house to treat it the tenants were a no show. Now that the house is vacant we can get in and do our thing. These photos show the condition of the house now and some of the areas we treated. This is why people get frustrated with Ghost Ants. They can enter your house anywhere. There was not one ant visible when we placed the bait at these locations.
