Mangrove Designs LLC is a custom cabinetry company serving New Port Richey, Trinity, and the greater Tampa Bay area.

We design, manufacture, and install high-end frameless cabinetry, built-ins, mudrooms, waterproof cabinetry and more! At Mangrove Designs our focus is on custom, built to order furniture and hand crafted woodworking projects. Orders are built to our client's specifications and can be constructed for either indoor our outdoor use. We also offer furniture refinishing as well as construction from reclaimed materials.

New Port Richey / Tampa Bay friends — figured it’s time to re-introduce myself.

I’m KC Bonney, owner of Mangrove Designs.

I design, build, and install custom cabinetry and built-ins right here in the Tampa Bay area. Kitchens, mudrooms, closets, entertainment walls, pantries, offices — if it’s cabinetry, that’s my lane.

This isn’t a big production shop or a sales showroom.

It’s a small local business where the person designing your project is the same person building it and installing it.

That means no middlemen, no sales pressure, and no guessing what the finished product will look like.

💰 MATERIAL COST REVEAL

Yesterday we asked what this stack of lumber cost.

The answer: $1,100

👇 Included:
• (1) 10’ sheet of 3/4” rift sawn white oak plywood
• (6) 12’ boards of 4/4 rift sawn white oak (~6” wide)

That’s material only — before design, sourcing, fabrication, finishing, or installation.

Rift sawn white oak is valued for its straight grain, stability, and consistency, but those same qualities also drive cost due to lower milling yield and premium grading.

This is one of the biggest differences between custom cabinetry and mass-produced products — the materials simply aren’t comparable.
