Hurricane Ian Update
Blue Yonder Pools Customers,
As you are well aware we are under a Hurricane/Tropical Storm Watch. We have prepared the following communication so you know what to expect in the coming days regarding your pool care. Your personal safety and well being is first and foremost, please make sure you take proper precautions for your personal safety before being concerned for your pool care. The information below is to prepare your pool for the coming storm and to aid with it being quickly re-opened after the storm.
1) Pool decks should be cleared of any loose debris, furniture, plants, etc. that can be blown around during a storm, becoming dangerous projectiles or contaminates to your pool.
2) Water level should be maintained in the middle of the skimmer opening. Blue Yonder Pools does not maintain pool water level, this is the pool owner’s responsibility.
3) Trees and shrubs should be trimmed of loose branches and yards should be picked up in advance of the storm.
4) Storm debris cleanup is not included as part of regular pool maintenance. Should you need additional support after the storm please email or call at [email protected] or 727-753-8153.
5) We do anticipate disruption to our regular service schedule this week. The storm is scheduled to move through our service area in the early morning hours on Thursday. As a precaution we will be servicing Tuesday and Wednesday accounts a day early. Thursday accounts are scheduled to be serviced on Wednesday or Friday depending on the timing of the storm.
6) Should our area be significantly impacted or your pool/yard experience damage or debris we will reduce our service to chemicals only to focus on maintaining water health while we work through the storm cleanup.
We wish you well and appreciate you trusting Blue Yonder Pools for your pool care.
Regards,
Mitch and Eric
