We removed all the boards on this deck and found that most of the joist were to far gone to save. LNH replaced all the joist to make sure this deck was structurally sound. Then we installed the new deck boards and hand railing. We had to wait a few weeks to let the wood dry and added a fresh coat of atlas cedar stain and sealer. This color is one of my favorites! We do a little bit of everything. Here we dug down around a shed and installed edging, plastic and decorative stone. Then we dug out for a 4x4 concrete step off the deck and poured concrete. We dug down 2 feet and connected downspout to drain water away from the house. Then we added edging along the house and added a compost for gardening.
