🌿 Responsible Pest Control Starts with Stewardship 🌿

At Mid State Pest Control, we understand that many people care deeply about protecting pollinators, beneficial insects, pets, wildlife, and the environment. So do we.

Our goal has never been to eliminate every insect we see. Our goal is to solve pest problems responsibly while minimizing unnecessary impact on the world around us.

We believe good pest control means:
• Targeting the pests that are causing problems—not everything else.
• Using products responsibly and according to their labels.
• Helping customers prevent infestations whenever possible.
• Respecting the environment while protecting homes, families, farms, and businesses.

If you've ever wondered how we approach pest control, we invite you to ask. We're always happy to explain our methods, discuss our recommendations, and answer your questions.

We believe stewardship means caring for both people and the world we've been entrusted with. We strive to practice that every day.

Thank you for supporting local, family-owned businesses that are committed to doing things the right way.

🕷️ Seeing More Spiders Around Your Home?

Spiders may be helping control other insects, but that doesn't mean you want them taking over your porch, garage, basement, or living room.

If you're seeing:
🕸️ Fresh webs every morning
🕷️ Spiders around doors and windows
🏡 Activity in basements, garages, or attics
..it's usually a sign there's an abundant food source nearby.

At Mid State Pest Control, we don't just knock down webs—we target the insects that attract spiders and create a protective barrier around your home to help keep them from coming back.

🥵 HOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? ☀️

If you're feeling the heat... imagine what the bugs are doing.

When temperatures climb, pests don't disappear—they start looking for three things:

💧 Water
🍽️ Food
🏠 Shelter

Unfortunately... your home checks all three boxes.

That's why we often see an increase in:
🐜 Ants invading kitchens
🕷️ Spiders following their food source indoors
🪳 Roaches searching for moisture
🐭 Rodents sneaking into garages and basements
🐝 Wasps becoming more active around homes and decks

The best time to stop a pest problem is before it becomes an infestation.

🛡️ Let Mid State Pest Control keep your home comfortable while the temperatures climb.

🦝 Cute? Absolutely. A Good Houseguest? Not Even Close.

Raccoons might look adorable, but they're incredibly smart—and if they decide your attic, chimney, or crawl space looks like a good place to move in, they can cause thousands of dollars in damage.

Here are a few things you may not know:

🏠 They can squeeze through surprisingly small openings.

🗑️ They're expert climbers and can scale trees, fences, and even downspouts.

🧠 Their front paws are so dexterous they can open latches, lids, and some doors.

🌙 They're most active at night, so hearing bumps or scratching after dark is often the first sign they're around.

The best wildlife control is prevention. A quick inspection and sealing potential entry points can save you from major repairs later.

Question of the day: What's the craziest place you've ever seen a raccoon? Attic? Garage? Dumpster? Tell us in the comments! 👇

If unwanted wildlife has made itself at home, Mid State Pest Control offers professional wildlife removal and exclusion services to help keep your home protected.
